Overview

In this case study, we will discuss the process and results of a UI redesign project for the Sunway Pals website. The goal of the redesign was to update the website's design to follow the latest UI trends and make it more appealing to visitors, while still maintaining the brand's core identity. We will cover the challenges we faced and the solutions we implemented.
Background

Sunway Pals is a loyalty program that rewards customers with points and special privileges for their spending at participating merchants in Sunway Malls and selected Sunway businesses. The existing Sunway Pals website had an outdated design and a poor user experience, and the company wanted to improve this to drive more engagement and conversions.
Approach

To redesign the Sunway Pals website, we first conducted research and gathered feedback from the team and stakeholders. We then focused on incorporating more use of gradients and the Montserrat font, as well as the brand's main colors of red and white, into the new design.
In addition to updating the overall look and feel of the website, we also led the creation of new pages for the Sunway Pay platform. This required ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across both websites.
To produce high-quality graphics for the website, we collaborated with a graphic designer to create vector graphics that were both visually appealing and aligned with the brand's style.
Results

After the redesign, we received positive feedback from the team and investors about the updated design, with many praising the use of gradients and the Montserrat font. The new pages for Sunway Pay also helped to drive more traffic and conversions for that platform.
Conclusion

The redesign of the Sunway Pals website was a success, achieving the goal of modernizing the online presence of the loyalty program. By working closely with the team and leveraging the expertise of a graphic designer, we were able to create a cohesive and visually appealing website that resonated with users.
